Stationary neural code on the 7 object data

 

This figure is the same as supplemental figure 7, except the data comes from the second monkey using the 7 unique object stimulus set (see supplemental figure 7 for more information about how these figures were made).  To test whether a dynamic or static code was present in this experiment, we trained the classifier at one point in time (using 150 ms of data), and then tested the classifier at either the same or different a different time period.  The results shown above show the code for the identity of the stimuli in this experiment was largely static (i.e., the same pattern of neural activity codes for the same object at all times in the trial).
